I gave it 3 stars because I was comparing it Cover King. There are no flaws. It just doesn't measure up.
If I had seen the material first, I would not have made the purchase. However, it will do the job, fits perfectly.
For those that don't want to struggle with installation, these seat covers are okay. Pilot logo adds class.
The fit is perfect. My wife likes these better than the Cover King, I don't. I wish I got the Cover King for the second row.
She likes them because of the custom fit.
The Cover King are much more luxurious (expensive) looking. The Honda OEM looks cheap by comparison. My Cover King came from my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Ordered through Costco for $ 199 (actually $169 on sale),for the front seat. Black with Grey Insert to match my silver Ridgeline, now silver Pilot. They fit reasonably well on my 2011 Pilot. I would guess Cover Kings made for the Pilot would fit better. I would still rather have the lesser fit, but much nicer looking Cover King. You can order these online and usually don't have to be a Costco member to order online. A 5% surcharge would apply. Easy return policy with Costco.
The Honda OEMs do not have any backs on them. They stop just below the headrests, in back. The center armrest has zippers to unzip and lower the armrest. I wasn't able to lower them after installation, I'll have to ask how.
Other important points. My Honda E Store price was $ 238, plus $ 20 for dealer installation. The young employee really struggled installing these. Probably don't install that many. Honda E store prices vary greatly. Your dealer sets the price. You pay the dealer.
For those checking Cover King for front seat covers, Honda Pilot has a rear lower flap that must be removed to properly install. Don't cut it off. You can slide the elastic strap off from under the front seat, fasten the seat cover, and hook the flap back up.
Cover King has several grades of this wet suit material. Neoprene is their better grade, Neosupreme is the cheaper grade. I'm guessing this Honda OEM is equivalent to Cover King's cheaper grade.
